![]() My point is, i WANT WoW to be fun but i just dont see where the fun lies. Besides, most of my friends either dont play video games at all or only play star2 But paying blizzard a monthly fee just so i can "socialize" doesn't seem to do justice to me. To me it just sounds like it is the "social aspect" of the game that truly makes it fun. Is there anything that mirrors this sort of aspect in WoW? Does it ever get to a point where youre playing so you can just "increase your economy", in a sense? I guess the whole thing that makes D2 fun is that sense of managing your money. In WoW, though, leveling just feels so bland and unexicting. What is it that makes WoW so much fun? It's funny, because for some reason in D2 leveling characters (with the intent of then finding gear/making money so i can make more characters/become richer) is extremely fun. ![]() I'm currently running a 1 month trial for the game, and i'm already thinking i'll just quit again. Now my question here is- how does WoW compare to this sort of style of game? I tried playing the game 2 years ago because everyone was raging about how much fun this game is, but honestly- i just never saw the fun in it. Runes are currency, and you use them to better your characters and become more wealthy. is what makes the game so much fun for me i think. The whole concept of economy management, buy low-sell-high, trade/commerce, etc. Even today, i LOVE just logging on to the game, it was always fun for me to try and level characters to the point of being able to just make "in-game currency" so i could trade for other gear, what i needed to build more chars, etc. Since it came out, Diablo 2 has been this game for me. In this sense, i mean a game i can pick up and play when i am not practicing at star2 and always just sort of have fun with. However, i like having what i call a "go-to game". Games based purely upon mechanical skill and strategical thinking are just so enticing. ![]() I've been doing pretty much strictly RTS/strategy games since early 2010, because frankly- this genre is by far the most appealing of any to me. I'll just start by saying the main game i play now is star2. #1 Hey TL, looking for some opinions here. ![]()
